Celtic Coin Stolen from Parnell, Auckland

On Tuesday 14th May a Celtic gold slater, identified as from the Iceni (the British tribe famous for Queen Boudicca who revolted against Roman rule in AD60) was stolen in a burglary in Parnell.

Approximately 2000 years old, it weighs 5.44 grams and is about 14mm in diameter.

Every Celtic coin is 'unique' and, to a trained eye, very easily identifiable.

If anybody presents this piece wishing to sell, please contact the police (Reference 190514/3824) and if safe to do so detain.

$500 Reward leading to recovery. Roger Callister - Mobile 027 4440555
